Drought, heavy rainfall and water scarcity are increasingly affecting towns, municipalities and public buildings. This is why we participated in an expert workshop held in Rajec and at the Bioclimatic Park Drienová, focusing on water retention and nature-based solutions.
The workshop went beyond expert presentations. Participants had the opportunity to explore practical measures directly in the field, demonstrating how rainwater can be captured, runoff slowed down and the impacts of drought mitigated.
For Energy – Eco – Services, connecting regional stakeholders, sharing good practices and bringing proven energy and environmental solutions into practice are key priorities. We aim to apply the knowledge gained when designing measures for public buildings and their surrounding areas in the Žilina Region.
Energy savings, sustainable water management and the protection of natural resources are closely interconnected. Together, they can contribute to lower operating costs, a more pleasant environment and greater resilience to changing climate conditions.
